An all-rounder that understands your job.

The Fendt 500 Vario has so many connections, more than any other in its power class. A total of 22 interfaces are well-placed at the front and rear: for hydraulics, ISOBUS, power beyond, front and rear PTO and much more. That guarantees versatile operations and trouble-free connection of implements. Thanks to the robust half-frame, an overall weight of 10.5 t is permissible, of which 8.5 t are for the rear axle alone. To permit flexible track adjustment, the Fendt 500 Vario is available with a stub axle upon request.

Features

Intelligent loading with Fendt CargoProfi

• Weight and tilt sensors, shaking function and job computer – with the Fendt CargoProfi, you can load even more precisely and have the quantity in view. The integrated weighing function reports when the target weight has been reached. The Shake function empties the bucket completely. The Memo function saves the position of the arm for frequently used procedures, for example, so that it does not need to be adjusted every time. Lift height limiting has proven itself useful in low halls and the tipping angle setting is practical for loading high trailers. End position damping ensures the front loader is raised gently and smoothly, which minimises loss of material through trickling.

Hydraulics for a lot of movement

• The Fendt 500 Vario is equipped with modern load sensing technology with a delivery capacity of up to 158 l/min. Up to seven electrohydraulic double-acting valves are possible, five at the rear and two in the front. Fifty-five litres of hydraulic oil can be used and are fully available to hydraulic consumers. Separate transmission and hydraulic oil supplies, dirt cannot enter the transmission. The new leakage oil container, which is integrated in the front and rear lift, also contains clean oil. The oil collected there can be reused.

The engine on the Fendt 500 Vario. The ideal drive for your farm

• The Fendt 500 Vario has a 4-cylinder engine with a high maximum torque of 687 Nm and a maximum power output of 165 hp* at approx. 1,850 rpm. It achieves its maximum torque at an economical 1,500 rpm. It already runs 40 km/h at 1,400 rpm, 50 km/h at 1,700 rpm (Fendt 516 Vario). The dynamic, powerful 4-cylinder engine proved itself for all operations in the power segment with a maximum output of 125 to 165 hp. The 4-valve technology with common rail injection enables efficient fuel consumption for the best overall efficiency. Through the combination with the SCR exhaust after treatment and passive diesel particulate filter CSF, the Fendt 500 Vario complies with the latest emissions standard Stage 4 / Tier 4 final and has an especially economical diesel and AdBlue consumption.

More visibility for the best perspective

• The Fendt VisioPlus cab with its unique glazed are assets the benchmark for overview and visibility. A total of 6.2 m2 of glazing offers a continuous all-round view without any B-pillars to get in the way. The panoramic front window of the VisioPlus cab, which curves up into the roof, extends the view upwards and downwards, enabling a viewing angle of 77 degrees – you can see the entire raised front loader from the driver seat.
