Aerator, Scarifiers And Sweeper On Display For Turf Professionals At Courses In QLD & NSW
– Following its successful demonstration last year, Sisis returned to our shores again in 2017 to demonstrate their range of leding turf renovation equipment. UK-based Sisis General Manager Toby Clarke and Field Support Ben Lloyd joined KC Equipment’s Golf & Turf Equipment Specialist Darren Shaw over the course of a wet week in February, visiting several golf courses in the region. Around thirty turf professionals came out and saw the machines in action.
The first demonstration was at Nudgee Golf Club, a beautiful 36 hole complex in Brisbane’s north west, nestled into the bend of the Kedron Brook waterway. Here the Veemo MK2 scarifier and Litamina 1200 sweeper were put through their paces. The former impressed the crowd with its tip speed and efficiency, while the latter left a clean, playable finish after only one pass.
The second demonstration was at City Golf Club Toowoomba, an 18 hole course about an hour and a half west of Brisbane on the crest of the Great Dividing Range. With beautiful grounds and a popular clubhouse and restaurant, City Golf Club is an institution in the Darling Downs. Here the Javelin Aer Aid air injection system and the Rotorake TM1000 scarifier joined the Veemo and Litamina in a complete renovation demonstration. As always, the Javelin impressed with its incredible aeration results.
Overall, the demonstrations were a huge success, furthering the reputation of the Sisis brand as the technology leader in this segment.
